Our Services
We provide litigation, mediation, and collaborative counsel for all aspects of your family law matter. Our team has extensive experience both in and out of the courtroom, so you can feel confident that your case is handled with the exact amount of care and advocacy required.
We also have an expert advisory team at the helm, including financial advisors, forensic professionals, therapists, coaches, and more, who are ready to step in at any point to ensure that your short-term and long-term interests are protected.
Custody and Child Support
Family law issues arise outside of divorce, and are often resolved privately or in family court. The complex issues of custody, support, relocation, parental alienation, domestic violence (and more) require special attention and experience.
Our team works hard to keep the impact on you and your children to a minimum. We are experienced in the nuances of the family court system and do all we can to resolve your conflict with the least amount of court intervention as necessary. However, in certain situations, the judicial process is warranted and in such a case, we tirelessly advocate for our clients.
Separation & Divorce
The process of “de-coupling” is difficult for everyone - no matter how much or how little you are fighting with your partner. Feelings of anger, disappointment, failure and shame are great friends of divorce. Now, add to that the fear and uncertainty of the legal process and all of the question marks that immediately arise, such as:
How do I talk about this with my spouse?
Can I afford a divorce?
Who can I trust?
The answers to those questions are different for everyone. It’s important you surround yourself with the people and professionals who understand that your situation is not solved with a “one size fits all” solution.
We will explore the many points you’ll need to consider and walk you through the process as you and your family shift into this new phase.
Prenuptial & Postnuptial Agreements
Having a prenuptial or postnuptial agreement drafted is the smartest and most cost-effective way to ensure that you and your partner’s wishes and expectations, should the marriage not work out, are respected. There are strict requirements for prenuptial and postnuptial agreements to be enforceable, and, if you are going to go down the path of having the tough conversations with your partner (which we, obviously, think you should) then you should get it right the first time.
We have the expertise to walk you through the process of drafting your agreement in a way that will leave you and your partner feeling empowered and protected.
Getting Started:
Stepping toward resolution can often feel like stepping toward conflict.
At Artese Zandri, we recognize the decision to act on a family matter is never an easy one. When deciding how to proceed, we weigh the options with you heavily. There are many factors to consider, and knowing your long term versus your short term goals is paramount. You will need an attorney and a process that suits your needs and your situation. We strive to make the process as consultative and collaborative as possible, and will guide you with our direct and honest counsel.
-
We start with a free thirty-minute consultation to get to know you and the situation you are facing. We’ll briefly cover what your issues are, what you’re hoping to accomplish, and we’ll give you an opportunity to ask us questions regarding your matter.
-
You should use the consultation to interview us as well. Your attorney is going to need to know about the very intimate details of your life. You should feel comfortable with your lawyer. You should feel encouraged and protected. Ask us what you need to know so that we can get there together.
-
At the end of our consultation, we will have given you a sense of your options for moving forward, and what it might cost you for each option.
